So it turns out Kanye West might actually be a fan of Beck after all.

“The other day I went out to dinner with Taylor Swift and ironically they were playing the Beck album in the background,” he said during an interview with Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club. “I was like, ‘Man, this is kind of good. Still, he added of Beck and his post-Grammys rant, “I bet you the album is really good. I’m gonna listen to the album, and maybe it was potentially an album of the year. But the Grammys are still … they have a commercial component to it. And they want to sell commercials.”

He also noted of the reported underage relationship between Tyga and Kylie Jenner, “I think he got in early, I think he was smart. They’re closer in age than a lot of relationships I know. I knew Tyga was smart, you know.”

And on the topic of the connection between wife Kim Kardashian and Beyonce, he disclosed, “They love each other, they respect each other. They definitely respect each other, but maybe there’s a Lebron James-Kobe [Bryant] element to it, but I can’t say that.”
