De’Von Pickett was in Philadelphia preparing for Nicki Minaj’s forthcoming “The Pinkprint” tour.
Two members of Nicki Minaj’s team were stabbed in Philadelphia today (February 18), according to a Tweet from the rapper.
“One was killed,” Nicki Minaj wrote on Twitter today. “They had only been there for two days rehearsing for the tour.”
De’Von Pickett, 29, died from his wounds, while Eric Parker, 27, is recovering and is in critical condition, according to TMZ.
Pickett and Parker were in in the Pennsylvania city preparing for Nicki Minaj’s “The Pinkprint Tour.”
The two were reportedly involved in an altercation at the Che Bar & Grill in the West Oak Lake section of Philadelphia today.
“We believe that both of the victims, as well as the perpetrator, were all inside of this bar and that’s when an argument started,” Chief Inspector Scott Small said, per NBC Philadelphia.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene in a gray Buick LaSabre.
