Toni Braxton and Maxwell are among the headliners performing at the 10th annual Jazz in the Gardens music festival. The two-day event (March 21-22) will be staged at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla.
Joining Maxwell and Braxton (who, with Babyface, won a Grammy last month for best R&B album) will be R. Kelly, Erykah Badu, Run-D.M.C., Sheila E., Brian Culbertson, the Men of Soul (Jeffrey Osborne, Peabo Bryson and Freddie Jackson) and the Jazz in the Gardens All-Stars (Ronnie Laws, Roy Ayers, Lonnie Liston Smith and Tom Browne). Tapped as co-hosts: nationally syndicated radio personalities D.L. Hughley and Rickey Smiley.
Last year’s Jazz in the Gardens — helmed by LL Cool J, Jamie Foxx, Trey Songz, Kelly Rowland, Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, Anthony Hamilton and more — set an attendance record with 68,000 visitors.
