Wale delivers a gem for the ladies with “The Matrimony (Making Plans).”

The new single from his upcoming album, The Album About Nothing, features Usher on the song’s hook. Usher kicks off the song by sweetly reassuring his lover that wedding bells are in the near future: “If there’s a question of my heart, you got it/ It don’t belong to anyone but you/ If there’s a question of my love, you got it/ Baby, don’t worry I got plans for you.”

Wale comes in and shares ups and downs in his relationship, and alludes to losing a baby: “When we lost our baby/ I got shady/ Shit got dark.”

The rapper closes the song by recognizing their future: “Women love me now but in your eyes we forever.” Check out the “The Matrimony (Making Plans), produced by Jake One and DJ Khalil, below.
