Fans can get tickets to see the simulcast sneaker launch in theaters on Thursday.

Gone are the days of heading to your local Foot Locker to check out new sneakers. Now you need to head to the theater.

Kanye West is launching his new Adidas shoe — the Yeezy 750 Boost — with a simulcast presentation Thursday that only ticket-holders in certain cities will be able to watch.

If you can’t get to one of the 50 theaters — or tickets at your theater are all snatched up — the sneaker arrives on Saturday for purchase. Of course, just 9,000 pairs will be released at $350 a pop, so that might also be out of reach.

But don’t fret: Kanye and Adidas promise there are more Yeezys on the way. “I just want people to be safe and patient,” he told Ryan Seacrest in an interview Wednesday morning (Feb. 11). “I know you can run up on this 14-year-old kid and take his Yeezys, but just be patient because we’ll make more Yeezys. Eventually, everybody who wants to get Yeezys will get Yeezys. Adidas has promised me that because there’s so many kids that wanted them, but couldn’t get them. And I talked to the heads at Adidas and they said, ‘We can make them.’”

West wore his Yeezy 750 Boosts — with a velour burgundy track suit — during his Grammy performance of “Only One” on Sunday.
