Jodeci Returns With New Epic Album Video

Timbaland co-produces two tracks on the March 31 set, the group's first new album since 1995.

After a 20-year recording hiatus, the long-rumored return of popular ’90s R&B group Jodeci is finally a reality. The quartet will release its fourth studio album, The Past, The Present, The Future, on March 31 (Sphinx Music Entertainment/Epic Records).

Harmony-rich ballad “Every Moment” is the set’s lead single, the music video for which will premiere Wednesday (Feb. 25) on Jodeci’s Facebook page at 8 p.m. ET. The video — helmed by director Hype Williams and shot in Aspen, Colo. — will make its Vevo debut on Thursday.

Comprised of members Cedric “K-Ci” Hailey, Joel “JoJo” Hailey, Dalvin “Mr. Dalvin” DeGrate and Donald “DeVante Swing” DeGrate, Jodeci broke through in 1991 with the triple-platinum debut Forever My Lady. Over the next five years, the group scored 10 top 10 R&B singles including five No. 1s: “Forever My Lady,” “Stay,” “Come & Talk to Me,” “Lately” and “Cry for You.” Jodeci’s last album was 1995’s The Show, The After Party, The Hotel, which spun off the No. 4 R&B hit “Get on Up.”
