Plus: The rapper’s new album is now available to stream for all Tidal members.
JAY-Z has shared a new visual to coincide with 4:44 track “The Story of O.J.” and its previously released animated video. The latest clip — labeled as “4:44 short episode one” and titled “Footnotes for ‘The Story of O.J.’” — appeared on Tidal late Monday afternoon (July 3).
Along with the 4:44 bonus footage comes news that as of 4:44 p.m. ET Monday, the full album is available to stream for all Tidal members, courtesy of Sprint. On its release day, the stream was exclusive to only those who were Sprint customers and/or existing Tidal subscribers,
“Response to JAY-Z’s 4:44 has been unbelievable from Sprint and existing Tidal members who have been able to exclusively stream the album since Friday,” Sprint’s Marcelo Claure says. “Now anyone who joins Tidal can experience JAY-Z’s innovative new work. Of course, Sprint customers and those who switch to Sprint can continue to enjoy a six-month trial of Tidal HiFi on us.” (The six-month trial for Sprint customers can be accessed here or by visiting a Sprint store; those who are new to Tidal but not Sprint users can sign up for an account here.)
