Drake Takes You Way Back to His Toronto Past in ‘Jungle’ Short Film

Drake

Well, it is Oscar season, and our man Drake has some cinematic aspirations. This week, with little warning, Drizzy dropped a new 14-minute film titled Jungle on his official web site.

Check it out below:

“The whole energy out here is just changing,” a pensive Drake remarks early on. He’s back in Toronto, presumably trying to get back in touch with his past, and finds, gasp, nothing was the same? There’s home videos from Drake’s childhood, scenes of present-day Drake with his friends (of course, none of them are new friends), and plenty of footage that goes well beyond the life of Aubrey Graham. You’ll just have to watch it yourself.

Jungle was directed by Karim Huu Do and executive produced by Jasper Thomlinson, Michael Sagol, and Kim Dellara.
