Bobby Shmurda’s bail package has been withdrawn and the rapper will stay in jail for the time being. 

Following a $2 million bail package application posted Friday on Shmurda’s behalf, The New York Times is now reporting that bail arrangement has been put on hold.

“It’s our understanding that the suretor has withdrawn and that no hearing is currently scheduled,” a spokeswoman for the office of the special narcotics prosecutor for New York City told the publication. 

Shmurda’s attorney Kenneth J. Montgomery confirmed the report with Complex, saying, “We are working on another more viable package. The average income of a household in Brooklyn is $44k. Mr. Pollard has not shot or killed anyone, nor has he been in possession of any drugs. However, his bail is $2 million. As a result of the bail amount we are dotting our I’s and crossing our T’s to make sure the package is approved by the Court.”

Montgomery told The New York Times they are hoping the new bond application will be done within the next week. 

Shmurda (born Ackquille Pollard) and members of the GS9 crew, which includes fellow Epic Records rapper Rowdy Rebel, were arrested outside Quad Studios in New York City in December and charged with now 101 total gang conspiracy charges, including reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon.
